Michael J. Alvarez, Co-Founder of InMore Group, Inc. Michael was born and raised in Miami, Florida where he began his career in the insurance industry at the age of 16. In 1999 Michael obtained his degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Florida State University. After his graduation Michael decided to establish a small independent insurance agency which he later grew to seven locations. In 2009 he merged his company with BenTrust Financial Group and formed a true one stop shop for all insurance needs. Most recently, Michael was Vice President and Partner at Bentrust Financial Group, a full-service Insurance and Risk Management Firm located in Miami, Florida which was acquired by Brown & Brown in 2015. Michael specialized in managing the Property & Casualty Division. With over 25 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry, Michael has developed relationships with clients and created opportunities for businesses and individuals to position insurance offerings. Michael has served as a member of the board of directors of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents, The Independent Insurance Agents of South Florida, Ambassadors of Mercy Hospital, Latin Builders Association and the Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services. He also volunteers countless hours with the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana.
Cristy Leon-Rivero, Co-Founder of InMore Group, Inc. Cristy was born and raised in Miami, Florida and has held various corporate roles. Since 2017, Cristy has focused her consulting firm on offering assistance to small-to-medium size companies in the areas of Health Care, Human Resources, Benefits, Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations and becoming a strategic partner to her clients. Backed by solid credentials, including experience with the nation’s largest Hispanic-owned retail chain where she oversaw various functions, Cristy is motivated by challenge and an unyielding desire for continuous improvement. Prior to starting her own consulting company, she was the Senior Director of Human Resources and Culture for the Hispanic Center of Excellence for CVS Health, based out of Miami, Florida. Cristy obtained her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Miami. Cristy thrives on giving back to the community and specifically serving those in need. She has served on the board of the South Florida After School All Stars and has supported La Liga Contra El Cancer and the Live Like Bella Organization in the fight against pediatric cancer. She currently serves on various Boards including the Alzheimer’s Association South Florida Chapter.
